Dominating Niches - Looking at Competitors Sites

Here's an easy way for you to begin Dominating Niches...

Another good way to find info on a market is to look closer at the websites of your competition.

Take the most popular products in the marketplace, the most advertised products outside of the affiliate networks, and the sites that were heavily advertised in niche publications.

Then, do the following:

Go to Google.com and make these searches for each site:

---> site:http://www.sitename.com - Lists all of the pages for a web site that are currently listed in Google.

---> link:http://www.sitename.com - Lists all sites that link to that particular website.

---> info:http://www.sitename.com - Tells you any information that
Google may have about the web site.

---> related:http://www.sitename.com - Brings up a list of sites with related content.

When you do this with your big competitor's web pages, you gain all kinds of important info.

You can gauge what types of sites link to a URL, and how many sites link to it. You can find related products and related sites.

You can also assess the size of the vendor's sites in that market, and learn what types of info they post on that site.

Do this with a few highly successful sites, within any market, and you'll begin to gain a very good feel for the marketplace in general.

When you begin finding a market, looking for competitors, looking at the content of competitor's sites, watching their ads, and finding related sites and products.

You can't help but to begin to get a real feel for that market. You'll have a good idea of the profit possibilities, and you'll very likely have a good idea of what types of products are selling well; and also, how your competitors are selling them.

With a profitable market all that is left is to find your own niche within that market.
